Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Olyphant, PA to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot, assemble and install plant equipment. This role involves documenting tasks, maintaining mechanical systems, and supporting production during line changes.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, knows welding/plumbing basics, and can work independently or with a team in a manufacturing setting. Willingness to follow safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as a Mechanic, Maintenance Specialist, or high-level Machine Operator in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proficient with precision measurement equipment and tolerances.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of welding, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, including fault analysis.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as required and maintain machines per maintenance plan.
• Document all equipment maintenance on appropriate forms and records.
• Repair and test equipment to specification and restore operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to keep production lines running.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications to guide maintenance work.
• Assist with operations during line changes and system implementations.
