Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Roxboro, NC is seeking a Night Shift Process Engineering Technician (Floater) to provide night-time process support for plant operations.

The role reports to the Process Engineering Manager and requires flexibility for a 12-hour, 10-hour, or 8-hour night shift with overlap for hand-offs. Responsibilities include safety-driven duties, troubleshooting, maintenance, and coordinating with the print and filtration operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required or in progress.
• Two-year or more degree in electrical or mechanical technologies or engineering beneficial but not required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, leadership and problem solving.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Forklift or other equipment experience. Operating equipment is a requirement.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work with others or as an individual.
• Must lead or support equipment tear down and repair, maintenance and troubleshooting, plus process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Follow site safety rules and notify management of hazards; support quality and safety initiatives.
• Work according to procedures and guidelines; help update or create procedures as needed.
• Assist in troubleshooting to maintain product quality and uptime.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to understand equipment and processes.
• Monitor filtration operation on both lines; report problems and manage chemical feeding.
• Lead night-time printing operations when required; ensure printing equipment operates per procedures.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Analyze and minimize issues; implement improvements as assigned.
• Communicate information to team and engineering; coordinate with maintenance and operations.
