Job summary

MultiCare Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary needs. The role requires independent practice with limited supervision, ventilator management, and ongoing evaluation of care.

Weekend night coverage is requested; candidates should have AMA-approved training, RRT, WA license, ACLS/NRP/PALS within 90 days, CPR, and at least one year of acute care experience;

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS within 90 days of hire depending on population served.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience in respiratory therapy and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations.
• Perform ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care.
• Work independently under limited supervision and collaborate with care teams.
