Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the Nights shift. The role requires independent practice, ventilator management and evaluation of care for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications include AMA-approved respiratory therapy training, RRT, WA state license, ACLS/NRP/PALS within 90 days, and CPR certification, with 1 year of acute care experience preferred. Internal candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Training program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing.
• Licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in WA.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS within 90 days of hire based on patient population age group.
• Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care respiratory therapy/critical care experience (RRT preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations.
• Perform independent, professional respiratory care including ventilator management and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Establish therapy objectives and review care based on patient age and needs.
• Collaborate with patient care staff, management, and external health care providers.
