Job summary

Apex Revenue Technologies is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee all shift functions, ensuring orderly, efficient production of the print facility and strong relationships with vendors, customers, and management.

You will hire, train and schedule staff, resolve equipment issues promptly, manage the budget to meet SLA, and drive LEAN and kaizen initiatives while maintaining security and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains and manages shift personnel to peak efficiency.
• Resolve equipment issues quickly; inform senior manager if unresolved.
• Understands business processes and software supporting print/insert operations.
• Manages temporary vendor badges; enforces shift security procedures.
• Assists in budget planning; ensures staffing meets SLA and minimizes overtime.
• Makes recommendations to increase shift efficiency.
• Supports quality goals; oversees shift quality and root-cause actions.
• Supports LEAN goals; applies LEAN and participates in kaizen events.
