Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Mechanic for our onsite Cambridge, MA location. The role performs routine preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, supports the preventive maintenance program, and responds to emergency calls during night shifts.

The position requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, 3–5 years of related experience, and NFPA Hot Work Certification. Massachusetts Second-Class Fireman License is preferred. Onsite night shift with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on doors, laundry chutes, and related equipment.
• Assist with installation and repair of automatic doors and hospital equipment.

• Ensure work complies with safety and infection control guidelines.
