Job summary

You will recycle old plates, assist with make-ready tasks, and maintain readiness of the press for operation during a Sunday-Thursday night shift, with a $3/hour shift premium and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of presswork procedures learned on the job.
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Load paper or raw materials into feeders, ensuring a constant flow while the press runs.
• Make adjustments to feeder mechanisms based on the size of the paper.
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation.
• Recycle old/discarded plates.
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation.
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates.
