Job summary

Precera Medical in Minnesota seeks an experienced machinist to plan materials and operation sequences, set up and operate machines, and produce precision parts per drawings. You will inspect parts for quality, document results in the ERP, and assist with assemblies as needed.

Qualifications

• Two to six years of relevant machining experience.
• Experience with milling, turning or grinding.
• Experience setting up and operating machine tools.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specs.
• Proficient with machinist hand and measuring tools; PC Windows skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and verify materials and operation sequences for each job.
• Set up machines with appropriate feeds, speeds, fixtures and tooling.
• Operate machines to produce precision parts per customer specs.
• Inspect parts for conformance and address non-conformities.
• Document results and enter data into ERP system.
• Fit and assemble parts into assemblies when required.
• Maintain 5S and a safe, clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
