ADG Pathology in Houston, TX, is seeking an Overnight Laboratory Assistant to assist with pre- and post-analytical tasks and specimen handling. The role includes accessioning and tracking samples, plus supporting diagnostic workflows to ensure accurate results.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree or higher is preferred. LIS and basic computing familiarity are needed, with medical terminology desirable. Emphasis on accuracy, organization and safety.

Competenze

Mansioni

• Receive, accession and track incoming samples using LIS and MS Office.
• Set up materials for techs to support processing (cassettes, slides, send-outs).
• Utilize LIS/PC to manage workflow, look up cases and document issues.
• Maintain supplies for accession and lab areas.
• Support QA/QC, projects and process evaluation.
• Maintain a clean, organized space following PPE standards.
• Communicate with staff to ensure patient safety and care.
