Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Alabama seeks a Sanitation Technician to clean and maintain assigned areas, handle cleaning chemicals, and assist with department setup. You will tear down machinery at shift start, support setup before production, and follow directions from management to ensure sanitary conditions.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Basic understanding of machinery tear down and setup.
• Clean up (parts) experience.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals to clean and sanitized all machinery and areas assigned to.
• Tear down machinery at beginning of cleanup shift.
• Help setup before production starts up in the morning.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, area leader and Sanitation Manager.
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
