Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a 2nd shift poultry line worker responsible for removing shoulders from carcasses at a set pace while maintaining product quality and safety. You will follow NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and company policies while working on a fast-paced production line.

The role requires manual dexterity and the ability to work unsupervised during a 2nd shift. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods, manage cold and wet conditions, and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity required.

• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Remove poultry shoulders from carcass while maintaining line speed according to company specifications.
• Identify and remove fan bones and eye meat from poultry piece as needed.
• Adhere to safe work practices, sanitation, and quality policies; report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal regulations.
