Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license.
• 12 months of nursing experience in the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry program.
• Emory LPNs transitioning to RN per program requirements or ADN-to-BSN obligations may be specified in department.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with input from patients and families.
• Document care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Identify learning needs and refer to appropriate resources.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and patient/family care partners.
