Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in Orange City, Florida. The RN will conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families while collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Required RN licensure with BLS, and an Associate's degree in Nursing; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• 1+ year in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough assessments of patients and analyzes data to plan care.
• Develops individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed with patient safety in mind.
• Educates patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and accurate documentation.
• Collaborates with care team and ensures smooth patient handoffs.
