Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. in San Antonio is seeking a Porter to maintain the cleanliness of lobbies, common areas, and restrooms, while supporting building operations and responding to special requests from tenants and staff.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in a porter role, and strong communication skills. You must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and physically capable of the required movements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a Porter role is a plus.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and kneel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust to keep areas tidy.
• Empty trash and replace liners; restock restroom supplies.
• Wipe doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
• Respond to spills, tenant requests and safety issues.
• Assist with moving furniture and setup for meetings or events.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are in good condition.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.
