Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness and presentation of building lobby and common areas in a night-shift role. The position involves responding to requests, assisting with events, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Porter experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of Porter experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, or kneel as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust to keep spaces tidy.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Restock restroom supplies (soap, towels, toilet paper).
• Wipe high-touch surfaces and assist with spills or tenant requests.
• Assist with moving furniture and setting up meeting spaces or events.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
