Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking an energetic Porter to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and common areas across our client sites in Corpus Christi.

This role supports building operations, responds to work orders, and helps create a welcoming, safe environment for tenants and staff. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Porter experience, is comfortable outdoors in various weather conditions, and demonstrates strong communication skills to coordinate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Porter experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, or kneel as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust to keep areas tidy.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Restock restroom supplies (soap, towels, and toilet paper).
• Wipe doors, windows and high-touch surfaces.
• Respond promptly to spills, messes, and tenant requests.
• Assist with moving furniture or setting up meeting spaces.
• Report maintenance and safety issues to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are in good condition.
