Job summary

Banner Health seeks a full-time Polysomnographic Technologist to join the Sleep Disorders Center–Hosp at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. You will perform diagnostic sleep monitoring, including home sleep tests, and analyze results to aid clinicians in diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.

The position requires 3+ years of experience in sleep testing, proficiency with sleep equipment, and strong clinical knowledge of sleep-wake cycles.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Registry by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists or NBRC RRT credential required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

Obtain artifact-free sleep tracings reflecting physiologic sleep processes.
Analyze sleep records, identify sleep stages and physiologic data.
Ensure accurate recordings; troubleshoot during testing as needed.
Collect and review medical history and medications for studies.
Assist in developing department policies and maintaining quality.
Assist leadership with scheduling, orientation, and training.
Ensure quality assurance in line with regulatory standards.
Independently perform prescribed diagnostic sleep monitoring and support the department.
