Job summary

UAB Medicine's Sleep Center is hiring a polysomnography technician for night shifts (6pm-6:30am) at the UAB St. Vincent's East location. You will prepare patients and equipment, conduct sleep studies, and report results with clinical interpretation.

Requirements include BRPT/ABS Pattern or RPSGT certification and BLS, with a high school diploma or higher education pathway. Join Alabama's largest health system delivering comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Current RPSGT with BRPT or ABSM certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and equipment for testing and explain procedures.
• Perform and document testing; monitor patient and intervene as needed.
• Collect, analyze and integrate patient information to score and report results.
• Prepare, calibrate and maintain equipment; report needed repairs.

Associate's degree/Technical degree

4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
