Job summary

Mohawk Valley Health System is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist for a full-time night position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates will conduct studies and monitor patients experiencing various sleep disorders including sleep apnea and insomnia.

The ideal candidate must have completed an accredited training program in Respiratory Therapy and possess a valid New York State license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Polysomnographic Technologist. Two years of relevant experience is also required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited training program in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Two years of experience with patients, laboratory studies, or related field.
• New York State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Polysomnographic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct studies and safe monitoring of clinical patients.
• Competently measure and apply electrodes according to standards.
• Monitor the patient continuously and document care accurately.
• Navigate EHR and input patient data.
