Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to work night shifts in the Sleep Services department. The role involves in-center and out-of-center sleep testing, patient education, and direct patient care under supervision.

Credentialing in sleep technology is required, along with CPR/BLS certification. The technologist will prepare studies, apply electrodes, score sleep stages, generate reports, and ensure data integrity while following HIPAA regulations and

Formación

Successful completion of an accredited sleep technology program or equivalent experience.
Credentialed in sleep technology (SDS, RPSGT or similar).
CPR/BLS certification and ongoing CEUs to maintain credentials.

Responsabilidades

Prepare sleep studies and set up monitors for in-center and out-of-center testing.
Apply electrodes/sensors and calibrate equipment for accurate data collection.
Score sleep stages and clinical events using AASM guidelines.
Generate reports and document findings with accuracy.
Educate patients and provide safety and procedure explanations.
Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure data quality and equipment integrity.
