Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI is seeking a Night Shift Sleep Technologist to conduct nocturnal polysomnograms, initiate CPAP, and score tests, supporting our Sleep Disorders Lab.

Requires high school diploma or GED, A-STEP certification, and BRPT or ABSM certification; 12–18 months experience preferred; you’ll train staff, calibrate equipment, monitor patients, and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of A-Step Program Certification.
• Twelve to eighteen months of related experience preferred.
• Board certification from BRPT or ABSM is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and materials for sleep tests.
• Explain test procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Instruct patients on PAP therapy use.
• Prepare patients by applying electrodes per AASM standards.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment; monitor patients during tests.
• Score polygraphic records and summarize findings for physicians.
