Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; Completed A-Step Program Certification.
• Twelve to eighteen months of related experience preferred.
• Board certification from BRPT or ABSM is required; pass exam within 18 months if not registered.
• Colleagues not registered or CRPSGTs must pass board examination within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and equipment for sleep studies using AASM standards.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot polysomnography equipment.
• Monitor patient during testing and adjust as needed.
• Score polygraphic records and summarize findings for physician review.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and BLS/CPR certification; assist training of new staff.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and assists with new hire training.
