Qualifications

• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnographic testing and scoring with quality data.
• Supervise Polysomnographic Technicians and Trainees.
• Review medical history, test requests and study protocols; document findings.
• Explain procedures and orient patients to the sleep center.
• Prepare, calibrate and operate testing equipment and sensors.
• Apply electrodes and monitor signals; adjust as needed to ensure data quality.
• Assist with generation of accurate reports and maintain safety standards.
• Follow Lights Out/On procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
