Mercy Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, provides polysomnographic tests, or sleep study evaluations, performed by Registered Sleep Technicians. Sleep studies are monitored by Registered Sleep Technicians and then reviewed and interpreted by a board‑certified sleep physician. By taking on this role, you can make an immediate difference by treating sleep apnea and making the patients feel heard and cared for.
A caregiver in this position works varying nights from 6:30PM – 7:00AM.
