Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2-2-3 days shift in Dickson, TN. You will troubleshoot PLCs, install and maintain electrical systems, and lead process improvements to boost productivity in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires 4+ years of industrial maintenance and 2+ years of electrical experience, plus PLC training, blueprints reading, and basic computer skills. Expect a fast-paced plant setting with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• 4+ years industrial maintenance experience and 2 years industrial electrical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal PLC training preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and procedures in English; test motors and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Trouble shoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
• Design and redesign program/software for PLCs and operator panels.
• Format hard drives and install computers in the plant.
• Install, maintain or repair equipment for electrical energy in a manufacturing setting.
• Diagnose electrical system issues from blueprints and specs.
• Lead process improvement projects and drive productivity and cost savings.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
