Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging in Pennsylvania is hiring a Night Shift Plate Mounter to mount printing plates on cylinders and assist the press team. The role runs 6pm to 6am on a 2/2/3 rotation, and includes a $1.25 per hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude relevant to mounting plates and setting up processes.
• Ability to read and interpret simple measurements and specs.
• Attention to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Mount printing plates to cylinders or sleeves and check for defects.
• Ensure plates are mounted in registration.
• Prepare first sample sheet for Supervisor review.
• Assist press department with plate repairs.
• Tear down jobs and set up next job.
• Follow setup procedures for mounter/proofer.
• Meet daily goals within tight production schedules.
• Adhere to SOPs covering health, safety, GMP and SQF.
