Job summary

Labelink USA is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Plate Mounters on 2nd shift in Appleton, WI. Review plate mounting specifications, clean and inspect plates, and mount with high precision.

This position offers straight shifts (no rotations), training on 1st shift, and second shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:20 PM–12:20 AM (+$1.00 shift differential). We provide competitive pay with raises and bonuses and a clear path for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to read rulers/tape measures to close tolerances.
• Good attention to detail and ability to spot defects.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs occasionally and stand for prolonged periods.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and job tracking.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders and plate mounting specifications (e.g. plate type, size, orientation).
• Clean, inspect and, if needed, make minor repairs to plates prior to mounting.
• Apply mounting tape, align and mount plates on cylinders or sleeves with high precision.
• Trim, proof, and perform quality control checks (registration, alignment, defects).
• Maintain and organize prepress/work area (plates, sleeves, tapes, etc.).
• Transport mounted plate assemblies to press staging area.
• Clean mounting equipment, remove used plates, wash and dry plates as needed.
• Record and report any defects, equipment issues, or discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety, quality and cleaning protocols.
