Job summary

MCC Label is hiring a Plate Mounter to set up and support printing presses per job specifications and customer expectations. The role requires accurate plate mounting, daily maintenance, and collaboration across departments to avoid downtime.

We offer a 3rd shift from 10:45pm to 7:15am, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and a 401(k). A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years manufacturing or fast-paced environment experience, preferably in the print industry.
• Physical demands require standing, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and good mobility.

Responsibilities

• Pull envelopes and file flexographic printing plates to match work orders; file and clean plates daily.
• Ensure press operators are not down due to missing plates or plate envelopes.
• Be organized, detail-oriented, and able to complete high volumes of work accurately.
• Follow established plate mounting procedures and perform routine PM on equipment.
• Inspect cylinders and plates for defects before mounting and ensure correct tooth size and undercut.
• Choose and mount correct quantities of plates according to colors and guidelines.
• Suggest process improvements and work with teams to streamline mounting procedures.
• Be available for 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed.
