Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a production shift, ensuring targets and quality standards.
• Oversee overall shift performance, productivity and safety compliance.
• Set daily production goals and communicate priorities to the team.
• Monitor processes and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct inspections to ensure SOPs and quality controls are followed.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to optimize production flow.
• Train and develop operators to improve skills and performance.
• Maintain accurate shift records, logs, and inventory tracking.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste.
• Ensure a culture of safety and coordinate maintenance planning.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members as needed.
• Serve as a key member of the plant emergency response team.
