Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Plant Sanitation Technician for a weekend night shift (6:00pm-6:15am) at our aseptic beverage manufacturing facility in Morgantown, WV. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, orderly production area and adhering to GMP, SQF, PMO, and internal quality standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning walls, ceilings, and floors, following the Master Cleaning Schedule, logging sanitation activities, and collaborating with Production, Maintenance, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and analytical reasoning skills.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers preferred.
• Experience with SQF and cGMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes and provides cleaning and sanitizing needs for all areas of the facility.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety policies.
• Maintain sanitation logs both electronically and on paper.
• Daily interior and exterior facility cleaning and custodial duties.
• Operate floor scrubbers and related equipment.
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering/Maintenance and QA.
• Ensure all chemical containers are labeled and stored correctly.
• Adhere to GMP, PMO and SQF requirements.
