Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Operator for our Waco, Texas plant. The role supports a strong safety culture in an MSHA-regulated aggregate environment, working on a night shift with a team to keep the plant in good operating condition for producing natural aggregates.

Key responsibilities include assisting with preventive maintenance, monitoring routine maintenance for safe production, and following all safety rules.

Qualifications

• Welding knowledge is required to understand and work with equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals to understand technical aspects of equipment.
• Must have the physical capacity to stand, lift up to 60 lb, and work in varied outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to keep the plant running.
• Monitor and assist in routine maintenance for efficient and safe production.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections.
• Maintain strong communication with plant staff and other operators.
• Carry out welding duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
