Job summary

CRH is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and overhaul crushing equipment, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in quarry operations. You will inspect, lubricate, and service equipment with limited supervision, perform welding, and ensure safety compliance on site.

Applicants should have welding experience, mechanical aptitude, and some experience in heavy equipment or quarry settings. This is a full-time, on-site role with the possibility of overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in heavy equipment and quarry environments preferred.
• Welding, torching, and mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety compliance with company and federal guidelines.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn parts.
• Dismantle and reassemble conveyor components.
• Operate and inspect machines/heavy equipment on site.
• Test machinery after repair to ensure performance.
• Follow MSHA and OSHA procedures.
