Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent Acute or Critical Care experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, communication, case management, leadership and teaching.
• Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with complex burn injuries and medical needs.
• Perform admission assessments and ongoing clinical management, coordinating with the Emergency Department.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with the burn care team.
• Coordinate care through recovery—from acute treatment to rehabilitation.
• Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the care experience.
