Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Milwaukee team. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00pm to 6:30am, with rotating days and alternating weekends and holidays.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient information management. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
