Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and accurate data entry, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 10:00pm to 6:30am. Travel to other sites may be required.

The position emphasizes high-quality customer service, precise documentation, and ability to work independently or in a team. A Phlebotomy certification or training program is preferred, with a high school diploma as a minimum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• Some phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
