• Prepares patient specimens for laboratory testing with emphasis on preanalytic and post-analytic processes.
• Enters patient demographics and test orders into lab information systems.
• Performs blood collection (phlebotomy) for 25% or more of scheduled hours.
• Adheres to Standards of Excellence and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Reviews lab request forms for complete information and resolves discrepancies.
