Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Bartlesville, OK team on a contract basis. The role involves performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and maintaining precise patient information per test orders.

The position requires a valid Phlebotomy certification where employed, at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures. Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage and temperature control.
