Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the Night Shift in Tampa, FL. This onsite role focuses on solid oral dosage production, following approved procedures, cGMP, and safety standards.

You will operate and monitor equipment, document processes, and maintain a clean, compliant environment. Responsibilities include preparing and executing manufacturing steps for tablets and capsules, set up and changeovers, line clearances, and in-process checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures, manufacturing instructions, and documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Commitment to quality, cGMP, and safety in a team environment.
• Experience with solid oral dosage manufacturing or equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with batch records, SOPs, line clearance, equipment cleaning, GDP, with overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations for tablet and capsule products, including dispensing, blending, granulation, drying, milling, compression, encapsulation, and coating activities.
• Set up, operate, monitor, clean, and support changeovers of manufacturing equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
• Conduct line clearances and verify materials, labels, equipment status, and documentation before production activities begin.
• Follow batch records, SOPs, cGMP requirements, and GDP while completing accurate production documentation.
• Perform in-process checks, collect samples, and monitor equipment and processes to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Maintain clean and compliant manufacturing areas while safely handling materials and following contamination-control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, support investigations and continuous improvement initiatives, and adapt to changing production demands.
