Job summary

Lonza in Tampa, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for the night shift to produce solid oral dosage products. You will operate equipment, follow approved procedures, document production activities, and maintain a compliant, safe manufacturing area onsite.

This role requires adherence to cGMP, GDP, and safety standards, ability to read batch records, handle materials up to 35 lbs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience following cGMP and GDP in pharma manufacturing.
• Ability to follow batch records and SOPs precisely.
• Experience operating solid oral dosage equipment (tablet presses, capsule fillers).
• Able to lift 35 lbs and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Dispense, blend, granulate, dry, mill, compress, encapsulate, and coat solid dosage products.
• Set up and changeover manufacturing equipment per procedures.
• Perform line clearances and verify materials, labels, equipment status, and documentation.
• Follow batch records, SOPs, cGMP, GDP in production docs.
• Perform in-process checks, collect samples, monitor processes.
• Maintain clean, compliant manufacturing areas; manage contamination control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and support improvements.
