Job summary

Lonza Tampa is seeking packaging operators with GMP experience to join our brand-new packaging and labeling lines on a multi-shift, onsite schedule.

You will perform manual primary packaging, operate automated equipment, ensure lot traceability, and maintain GMP documentation; collaborate with QA and equipment specialists; participate in safety processes to uphold world-class quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in pharmaceutical GMP environment.
• Familiarity with cleaning and sanitizing Primary and Secondary Packaging rooms.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual Primary and Secondary Packaging activities in line with batch records.
• Operate and set up automated equipment to support packaging workflows.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation and movement of materials between packaging areas and the warehouse while maintaining chain of custody.
• Identify and report issues to QA and leaders to prevent deviations.
• Support qualification and implementation of new equipment with the Equipment Specialist.
• Maintain training and complete GMP documentation.
• Participate in production schedule meetings and safety processes.
