Job summary

John Knox Manor Inc. in Montgomery, AL is seeking dedicated Personal Care Attendants for full-time day-to-day care in Sturgis Hall Assisted Living. We also have a PART-TIME 3rd shift option (10:45pm-7:15am, weekends) at the same facility.

Ideal candidates are dependable, punctual, compassionate, and able to work with all residents. CNA licensure is preferred but not required; background check and drug screen are conducted on-site at interview.

Qualifications

• Elderly care experience required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure preferred (but not required).
• Must pass background check and drug screen, done on-site at time of interview.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meal service according to the resident’s individual care plan
• Maintains residents' records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and procedures and state regulations.
• Performs general housekeeping in following cleaning schedules for resident laundry, living spaces, bathrooms, and common areas. Maintains a clean, safe and orderly environment for our residents.
