Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living's The Neighborhood at Priceville in Alabama is seeking a Resident Care Associate (CNA) to join our team on the 3rd shift, 10:00pm to 6:00am, Monday through Friday with every other weekend.

You will provide hands-on care per each resident's Personalized Service Plan, assist with ADLs, monitor condition, and support residents and families in a safe, homelike environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with elders or disabled individuals is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care tasks.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development and updates of Personalized Service Plans; attends family meetings as requested.
• Maintains hydration schedules and ensures residents dine or receive room service as needed.
• Completes resident meal attendance sheets and tracks dining room participation.
• Follows resident rights and safety procedures; uses universal precautions.
• Assists with activities and checks daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence, and condition changes.
• Ensures cleanliness of rooms and common areas; coordinates with housekeeping.
• Completes ADLs per PSP and responds promptly to call bells.
