Job summary

Shenandoah Personal Care Senior Living Community in Shenandoah, PA is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our team. No prior experience is necessary—facility training for medication administration is provided.

The role is part-time, 10pm-6am, with every other weekend and holiday required. Pay rate starts at $14.00–$15.00 per hour, with shift differential available. Join us to provide daily care, companionship, and support to residents in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.
• Previous experience is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Administer medications to residents who are not self-administering, following facility-provided training.
• Assist and support residents during mealtimes.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Foster meaningful relationships with residents and promote their dignity and independence.
• Follow individualized care plans and facility policies.
