Job summary

Shenandoah Personal Care Senior Living Community is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support residents in Shenandoah, PA. No prior experience is required; facility training for medication administration is provided.

This part-time role offers 10pm–6am shifts and every other weekend plus holidays. You will assist with ADLs, help during meals, administer non-self-care medications after training, provide companionship, and follow individualized care plans to preserve residents'

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.
Previous experience is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Administer medications to residents who are not self-administering, following facility-provided training.
Assist and support residents during mealtimes.
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
Foster meaningful relationships with residents and promote their dignity and independence.
Follow individualized care plans and facility policies.
