Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced Night Shift Rehabilitation RN (0.9 FTE) to join our pediatric rehab team. The unit is a 12-bed CARF-accredited inpatient rehab unit caring for brain injuries, orthopedic injuries and other neuro-pediatric conditions.

Transitioning adult RNs with passion for pediatrics are welcome; training is provided. You will work with physicians, NPs, therapists, neuropsychology, social work and technicians to deliver age-appropriate, evidence-based care

Qualifications

Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree (Required).
Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date (Required).
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association prior to start date (Required).
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program (Preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to pediatric rehabilitation and medical-surgical patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans.
Deliver care during night shift and weekends as assigned.
Promote patient health and education per evidence-based standards.
