Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care as needed within the Family Services Division. Salary starts at $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. Work schedule is Monday to Thursday 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM, in MD.

Provides first aid for staff, volunteers, and visitors and supports care for children ages 5-13 with behavioral needs. The RN role involves assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary

Formación

• Knowledge of nursing practices including first aid, medication administration protocols, CPR, and infection control protocols.
• Knowledge of MD State and CDC guidelines/mandates for immunization.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications and treatments in accordance with evidence based best practices and team plans.
• Monitors the outcome of interventions.
• Assesses health and provides clinical nursing care, measures vital signs, and collects lab specimens as ordered.
• Assists the pediatrician in physical assessments and medical reviews; conducts rounds to observe children.
• Triages and assesses level of need; provides first aid and CPR as needed.
• Maintains health records; documents all work and lab results.
