Job summary

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a PDU Assembly Technician for the Night Shift at its Price, Utah facility. You will assemble mechanical components, wire electrical devices, and work with switches, panels, and related hardware in a high-volume environment.

You'll collaborate with mechanical and electrical leads to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery. A strong attention to detail, ability to read assembly prints, and hands-on tool experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with industrial electrical distribution equipment preferred.
• Experience using hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, drills, and DVOM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical assembly prints under supervision.
• Construct mechanical and bus bar assemblies and wire electrical components.
• Position, align and adjust mechanical workpieces for assembly or wiring.
• Complete basic electrical wiring functions for assigned equipment.
• Build and install wiring racks and electrical bus bar according to project requirements.
• Inspect and correct assembly issues and repair as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical problems and determine repair costs.
• Complete installations according to electrical codes, IE procedures, and quality standards.
• Manage assigned work to meet schedules, quality expectations, and delivery requirements.
