Job summary

Intermountain Electronics (IE) is hiring for entry‑level Electrical Manufacturing Technicians in Price, Utah. No previous electrical experience is required, and training is provided.

You will learn to assemble, wire, and test custom electrical equipment used in data centers, utilities, mining, energy, and industrial operations. Join a family‑owned company with 40+ years of experience, a day shift schedule, and opportunities for advancement through multiple technician levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• No previous electrical experience required; training provided.
• Experience in electrical, construction, manufacturing, or skilled trades may qualify for higher technician levels.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire custom electrical equipment from start to finish.
• Install electrical components into power distribution equipment.
• Build and wire control panels, switchboards, transformers, relays, PLC systems.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering docs.
• Route, label, terminate, and test wiring.
• Perform modifications and repairs to electrical assemblies.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and correct wiring discrepancies.
• Assist with electrical testing and final equipment verification.
