Job summary

Intermountain Electronics Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician for our Price, UT facility. You will install cable trays, buss bars, and electrical components on equipment such as E-houses and metering skids, while following strict quality standards.

The role operates Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:30 am, with occasional travel up to 5%. Expected duties include assembling frames, installing doors, siding, and panels, handling tools and equipment, and ensuring safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and at least 1 year in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read wiring schematics and layout diagrams.
• Experience with hand tools and basic assembly.
• Self-motivated, team oriented, and able to meet production timelines.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Install cable trays, buss bar, conduit, and mounting brackets.
• Assemble structural frameworks and wall assemblies on skids; install roof panels and trusses.
• Assemble, align, and mount sub-assemblies in electrical control equipment.
• Follow quality procedures to verify mechanical integrity of units.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical components as needed.
• Ensure work areas are safe and clean and maintain schedules.
