Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing/Quality candidate to perform PCB inspection, rework and assembly operations across a range of mechanical equipment. You will verify thru-hole and SMT circuits, perform lead and lead-free soldering, and identify parts and polarity while maintaining documentation and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to quality objectives, and meeting customer needs with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1–2 years in manufacturing preferred.
2–3 years’ experience in Quality.
Knowledge of soldering tools to include removal and part removal.
Current J Standard Certification or equivalent.
Current IPC 610 Certification.
Rework experience required.
Basic commuter skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Performs post assembly, serializing, and component insertion.
Performs verification on thru-hole and SMT circuitry.
Performs both lead and lead-free solder operations.
Identify parts and polarity on printed circuit boards.
Pass quality products and follow manufacturing documentation with minimal supervision.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety procedures.
Meet short- and long-term deadlines and cooperate with internal and external customers.
Function well in a team and independently, and participate in continuous improvement.
